“If you unite sound with vision, then you will create light.

That light is the concentrated force of the mind.

It is by that brightness that truth is revealed.”

“What we are all seeking is clarity…. What we abhor is ignorance. It is a misconception that spirituality brings everlasting happiness…. Sadness still comes to wise, but, unlike most people, their clarity of mind allows them to see beyond the temporal emotionalism of the moment…. True clarity is more than just being smart, more than just being wise. Clarity manifests from meditation. It comes when you can unite all the faculties of the mind and unify them into a magnificent light of perception.   Deng Ming-Dao

Worry: it’s the cancer of the emotions, concern gone compulsive.  Keep walking your path, changing what you can.  The rest must be dissolved in compassion.  Impossible to address every concern, take care of yourself and do good for those you meet.  After you’ve acted, withdraw and be unconcerned.  No worry, because there has been action.

Subconcious: Meditation may unlock heaven within us.  We ourselves are the battleground for good and evil.  All that must be transcended, the pain and scars of the past, is within us – hell.  All the power of transcendence is also within.  This is divine.

Footsteps in the sand
Quickly washed away:
The seashore mind.

By resolving the problems of each day to our utmost satisfaction, we attain the purity of a beach constantly washed by waves.  Great thoroughness is required to act without leaving consequences.

Perseverance: To taste the fruit requires maturity and experience.  We need to cultivate patience, planning, and timing.  We build our resources even when circumstances seem to be against us.  We don’t neglect anything we have set in motion.  If we nurse our plans through good times and bad, our plans will eventually succeed with the inevitability of fish caught in a net.

Stretching: literally and metaphorically, is a necessary part of life.  Expansion and flexibility in body and personal growth.

Circulation: Spirituality – not just mental, also an expression of energy.  The source rooted in basic chemistry of the body.  Self-cultivation refines this – a state of being.
